Advanced Depot

Advanced Depot is an Occult Scroll.

Using reserve ammo means the magazine will stay at a certain amount until reserve ammo is depleted. Additionally, no reload is needed since the magazine is not used. However the ammo consumption is also increased by 50% on average, such that total DPS may fall if the user cannot restore ammo frequently.

Weapons that automatically refill the magazine near instantaneously, such as Glimmering, Icy Spear, Prism, Talisman, Golden Bow, Strike Wing and Fire Tower will receive no benefit from this scroll. Star Devourer will still benefit despite automatically refilling its magazine.

Synergies[]

Positive[]

Inscriptions and other effects that reset on reload, such as Demonlore's bonus effect, will never reset.
Perfect Sixth and Improved Clip will never reset.
Preemptive Strike will always provide +50% damage if the magazine is full.
Elemental Cube can be kept with a certain element.
Ammo Belt doubles maximum reserve ammo.
Ammo Recoverer recovers ammo to slightly balance the increased cost.
Merciless Combo can more easily keep its damage bonus without reloads interrupting.
Inferior Magazine and Cursed Magazine are negated.
Sabotaged Magazine is mostly negated, however ammo is still lost from the magazine, so reloading is still required on occasion.

Reduced Positive[]

Magic Magazine normally does not work. However if Advanced Depot is picked up after triggering the magazine buff, it can be kept as long as the weapon is not switched away.
Genesis no longer recovers ammo to the magazine, but it will still prevent ammo consumption.
Fast-Loader refilling the magazine becomes useless, however the Lucky Shot Chance bonus remains.

Mixed[]

◈ Two shot magazine^{(full text)} can always receive the +200% Lucky Shot Chance if the magazine is at 1 ammo, then Advanced Depot is picked up. However not performing this trick will not consume ammo in the magazine, making this inscription useless.
Dormant Bullet can be kept at the maximum bonus by firing until the magazine is at 1 ammo, then picking up Advanced Depot. However not performing this trick will not consume ammo in the magazine, making the scroll less useful or outright useless if the magazine is full.

Nullified[]

Overloading, Hail of Bullets, Skateboarder, Tactical Reload and inscriptions that require a reload to activate will not work.

Negative[]

Double Caliber cannot restore ammo to full magazine, causing every shot to consume 2 special ammo until reserve is empty.
Against the Flow provides no benefits while still draining ammo when not firing at enemies.
Old Belt reduces maximum reserve ammo.
