Blessing in Disguise is an Occult Scroll.

Restricts the number of Ascensions you can pick at each Goblet from 3 down to 2. However you also get the ability to select both ascensions at a goblet. This can be done 3 times.

The scroll cannot be discarded.

While initially very powerful for getting bonus ascensions, it also restricts what ascensions you can choose from, limiting your options. Additionally it will become bad to keep after the 3 uses are consumed, leaving you with only the ascension restrictions. As such, the scroll is usually more powerful the later you see it (as you always get 3 uses while having to face the restriction less). However, the corrupted goblets in Hyperborean Jokul which normally has only one option will also have two options, meaning it increases instead of decreases your choices.

Enhanced: Selecting both ascensions can be done 5 times in total instead of 3.

Synergies

• Ultimate Gambler allows to change both choices once per goblet, such that it is easier to find desired ascension(s).

Notes

• Finding this scroll more than once (by destroying or whatever method) does not restore used charges. For example, you used "take both" once with normal version of scroll to make the remaining chance "2/3", then you find the enhanced scroll, the remaining chance will become "4/5".
