Extravagant Consumption is an Occult Scroll.
Every 100 Copper? spent after obtaining the scroll increases all damage by +1%.
However when you exit a stage, any copper you have over 500 will be automatically spent on nothing. This also increases the damage bonus.
The scroll encourages you to spend most of your copper every stage, to get both the damage bonus and whatever is bought with it.
When Golden Touch is purchased, weapons and scrolls automatically recycled upon leaving a stage will grant copper before Extravagant Consumption takes effect, consuming copper gained if over 500 as usual.
Enhanced: Also counts copper spent before obtaining this scroll.
Synergies[]
Positive[]
On the House allows you to purchase 1 item for free per Peddler. While free items will not count towards Extravagant Consumption's bonus, it can let you buy more items with the 500 copper limit.
Devil's Covenant increases future copper gains by +50%.
Hidden Treasure gives small amounts of copper from breakable objects.
Extra Surprise grants extra copper when killing enemies.
Copper Miner doubles copper from enemies killed within 7 meters.
Coin Shot will occasionally spend copper when firing, however Lucky Shots will restrict how often it occurs.
Premium Membership refunds 30% of copper spent, increasing the amount you keep and therefore the amount you can spend again. This will also apply to copper consumed when going to the next stage.
Jackpot grants 2,000 copper instantly (which becomes +20% bonus soon) and increases further copper gain by 50%.
Reduced Positive[]
Unfettered Will and
Rich's Privileges will have their bonus reduced after every stage if copper is over 500.
Mixed[]
Craftsman's Inheritor allows weapon enhancement without spending copper, especially at boss stages. However weapon enhancements will no longer add any bonus.
No Discounts and
Arms Trafficker increase costs at the Peddler and Craftsman. While there are fewer copper to spend on other things, the increased costs are also added to the bonus.
Notes[]
Dropping the scroll will reset the damage bonus, and thus should not be traded between team members.
This scroll's effect caps at 60000 stacks, for a total 60000% damage bonus; this is irrelevant in regular gameplay as reaching this cap requires spending 6 million copper.
Update History[]
- 08/29/2022 update: Enhanced version added.
- 07/01/2022 update: Stack changed from "1 copper per stack" to "100 copper per stack". Total effect is the same.
- 06/24/2022 update: Added to the game.
- By that time, if the stack of this scroll went over 65,535, the counter would overflow and restart from 0.
