Iron Wing is Nona's Primary Skill, so to speak. Iron Wing itself acts as a companion that fights alongside Nona, complete with its own Health?, attack power and Movement Speed stats. Iron Wing deals skill damage and benefits from skill damage bonuses that Nona has.

Iron Wing has 2 different modes that it can switch between. Strike mode and Fire mode. Switching modes can be done on command by using the Interrupt Charging button (default is middle-mouse click), unless Iron Wing is already using a Primary Skill or switching mode.

If Iron Wing runs out of Health, it can be rescued like a teammate within 12 seconds. If not done so, Nona needs 20 seconds to re-assemble a new Iron Wing for further use. Primary Skill use is disabled while Iron Wing is knocked down or being re-assembled.

Stats[]

Without upgrades, Iron Wing has the following stats:

  • Health: Starts at 400, every ascension gives 40 more.
  • Attack Power: 500.
  • Movement Speed: 7.0, and benefits from bonus on Nona.
    • The in-game description says "700" for the speed.

Strike Mode[]

In this mode, the Iron Wing can move freely and will perform melee slams to nearby enemies. Sometimes it will leap to a nearby enemy.

Damage dealt is based on the Attack Power stat and any bonuses it receives.

Mecha Drop[]

"Iron Wing - Strike Mode charges into the target location, dealing normal DMG to nearby enemies, while taunting them."

Using the Primary Skill while Iron Wing is in Strike mode will cast Mecha Drop, calling it down from the sky before smashing into nearby enemies within 10 meters, dealing normal damage based on 150% of the Attack Power stat.

This effect also taunts the enemies into attacking Iron Wing for 3 seconds, indicated by a golden swirl effect above the enemy's head.

Fire Mode[]

In this mode, the Iron Wing stays at a fixed location and will shoot missiles at enemies.

Damage dealt by missiles are equal to Hardwood Missile used by Nona, and will receive the same damage bonuses.

Redeployment[]

"Iron Wing - Fire Mode will deploy in defensive position at the target location."

Using the Primary Skill while Iron Wing is in Fire mode will cast Redeployment, bringing it to a new location. Redeployment has 3 capacity by default.

This can be useful when Iron Wing would otherwise be in a position that cannot fire upon enemies, due to being unable to move.

Frequent Use[]

The base cooldown is 15s for Mecha Drop, or 12s for Redeployment.

Offensive Use[]

Without upgrades, Iron Wing - Strike Mode has 500 attack power. Mecha Drop deals damage equal to 150% attack power. Iron Wing - Fire Mode however deals damage equivalent to Hardwood Missile, which details Iron Wing's damage on its own page.

  • Skill Enhancement increases skill damage by up to +50%.
  • Improved Craft increases Iron Wing's Attack Power by +20 for every ascension obtained.
  • Aggressive Craft grants a 25% chance for Iron Wing to deal +100% total damage.
  • Elemental Share gives Iron Wing - Strike Mode the elemental damage and effect chance of the weapon not currently held by Nona.
  • Mastery increases the Attack Power and attack speed for Iron Wing by up to +350% and +60%, respectively. Level 3 grants an additional attack to Iron Wing, which deals 200% damage with a 3 second cooldown.
  • Energy Overload increases skill damage by up to +200% for up to 12 seconds after using the primary skill.
  • Kinetic Enhancement increases the damage of Mecha Drop to up to 825% of Iron Wing's Attack Power.
  • Charging Crush grants Iron Wing - Strike Mode a new attack, dealing up to 900% damage based on Attack Power, with a cooldown as low as 8s. Using the primary skill grants a temporary use. Level 3 deals +60% total damage if it only hits 1 enemy.
  • Suicide Device allows Iron Wing to build a backup mecha. When it is ready and Iron Wing is defeated or you use the primary skill, Iron Wing self-destructs, dealing up to 50 times its max Health in damage to enemies within 10 meters.
  • Nimble Finger increases Iron Wing's attack speed by up to +60% for 4 seconds after Nona reloads an empty magazine.
  • Brutal Gloves increases damage dealt by +35%.
  • Energy Sandals increases damage for every dash since the last primary/secondary skill use or trigger.
  • Skill Booster increases damage for every Critical Hit since the last primary/secondary skill use or trigger.
  • Sucker Punch increases skill damage by +45% if the enemy has at least 70% Health.
  • Enduring Caster increases skill damage by +1% for every 5 Health and Shield/Armor you have.
  • Vindictive Nature increases skill damage by +40% for some time after taking damage.
  • Surprise Bonus grants a 15% chance to double the damage of any skill.
  • Rational Consumption increases skill damage by +80%, but lowers it by 5% for every item purchased from a Peddler.
  • Dual-edge increases damage by +1% for every enemy killed.
  • Deadly Curse increases skill damage by +75%.
  • Spirit Bible increases skill damage by +120%.
  • Rich's Privileges deals extra damage after hitting with skill damage based on how much copper you currently have.
  • Overconsumption increases damage dealt by up to +300%.
  • Armed Caster increases skill damage by +50% for every 1x CritX your held weapon has.
  • Pair of Us increases damage by +1% for every 1 Health Iron Wing currently has.
  • Skill Enhancement increases skill damage by +6% for every level up.
  • Golden Touch increases skill damage by +10% for every occult scroll recycled, up to +100%.
  • Skill Specialist increases total skill damage by +100%.

Defensive Use[]

Without upgrades, Iron Wing can act as a distraction for enemies, taking hits for Nona. Mecha Drop taunts enemies into attacking Iron Wing for 3s.

  • Armor Reinforcement increases Nona's Health by +30, and Iron Wing's Health by +25%.
  • Emergency Function allows Iron Wing to rescue Nona should she fall down. It doesn't benefit from standard talents.
  • Wood Armor increases Iron Wing's Health by up to +75%. Additionally it increases the taunt time after using Mecha Drop by up to +4.5s, and grants Iron Wing up to -100% damage taken while taunting.
  • Gold Medal restores 15%? for Nona on primary skill use.
  • Pair of Us prevents Iron Wing from getting knocked down as long as Nona is alive.
  • Same Boat recovers 10%/5% of Iron Wing's Health in Strike/Fire Mode when it hits an enemy Nona hit in the last 5s.
  • Cardiac Pacing instantly revives all downed teammates within 25 meters upon primary skill use. (Cooldown: 15s)

Notes[]

  • Your own Iron Wing is always in yellow color and can be opaque when far away. In Multiplayer, Iron Wings of other Nona players are orange colored and always transparent.
  • Iron Wing can gain a barrier from Lighting Ksana.

Trivia[]

  • Iron Wing is piloted by a chicken, who can also be seen with Nona at the inn, when Iron Wing is in Fire Mode, and in her end of run screen (both victory and defeat).
