Rock-Hard Determination is an Occult Scroll.
Increases your damage when you are not moving, and for 4 seconds afterwards. The bonus drops as the duration runs out.
However because not moving makes you an easy target, it is risky to use the scroll at its fullest.
Hiding behind cover or playing in multiplayer sessions may help reduce the number of shots hitting you or enemies targeting you.
Enhanced: Increases the bonus from +50% damage to +80%, and the bonus remains at full effectiveness for the entire duration.

- Long range weapons such as
Snipers can be used with less risk of being hit. - Any decrease to damage taken will allow you to take more hits while standing still.
Preemptive Strike, 
Wait For Good and Ninja's Discipline can be used while standing still, increasing damage further.- Resilient Life recovers 3% health every second for 5 seconds after taking damage.
- Thorny Carapace deals damage to enemies that hit you.
- Deadly Counter guarantees critical hits for 3 seconds after taking damage.
- Stone Skin reduces damage taken by -30% for 3 seconds after taking damage, allowing repeated hits to be less dangerous.

- Mid-Air Strike and Flowing Wind does not work when you're not moving, and Rock-Hard Determination is less effective while moving or jumping.
Mixed[]
- Any increases to movement speed or dashing will shorten the time it takes to reach new locations, but will also encourage move moving around to maximize their own benefits.
- Heavy Shield decreases movement speed by -10%, making movement take longer and increasing the duration of this scroll's ineffectiveness. However it also negates damage 40% (25% against elites/bosses) of the time, so standing still and taking hits is less dangerous.

- 09/25/2021 update: Unenhanced version now keeps the bonus for 4s while moving, but it gradually decreases in power.
